In the last year, we've continued to see B2C marketing tactics sneak their way into B2B, and rightfully so. We've quickly learned that, at the end of the day, B2B still sells to humans. We continue to learn that community, relationships, and emotions play a huge role in decision-making, especially as we continue to encourage diversity in perspectives in the corporate world now more than ever. If you over-process, you run the risk of losing integrity. If you under-process, you potentially lose your analytics. It's a delicate balance that only experienced marketers are able to quickly figure out.
Additionally, we can throw the idea of cloning a previous concept or campaign out the window. If your marketing infrastructure is not built in a way that can continually be enhanced to adopt the latest trends in technology, then, to be blunt... you're screwed.
This article is a great depiction of the trends that I've seen on the rise in 2022 that will definitely take more effect in the upcoming new year. Fellow marketers, I'm looking forward to hearing from you on which trends you tap into more in 2023.
Bottom line: Stay up-to-date on evolving tech. Build an infrastructure that can be nimble. Always think about the end game.
